Responsibilities: Prepare patients for X-ray exams & position patients based on the type of exam to be performed. Cross-trained to perform Front Office & Medical Assistant duties including greeting patients, registering patients, & rooming patients.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm

Weekday Shifts: Typically 12-hour shifts with the occasional 6-hour shift. This position is every 3rd weekend with the possibility of every 4th.

Weekend Shifts: are 8 AM – 4 PM both Saturdays and Sundays.

Job Types: Part-time, Weekend Coverage 1 weekend/month

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Education: Associate (Required)

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)

We are adding to our nursing staff! This position will be either part-time or full-time depending on the right candidate. We are an independent, fast-paced, patient-centered urgent care. Our ideal candidate will have experience rooming patients, running point-of-care laboratory tests, performing basic wound care, and knowledge of EKGs and IM/SC injections. Phlebotomy experience is also highly preferred. We offer flexibility in scheduling. Shifts can be 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours. This is a hybrid position, cross-trained for UCP as well as our direct primary care clinic. NEWMD.

We are seeking a Part-Time Physician Assistant or NP, 20-30 hrs per/week, to help with our urgent care (UCP), 1 weekend/month, and our Direct Primary Care clinic (NEW MD), 16-20 hours/week.

For over a decade, our independent urgent care has thrived on meeting the healthcare needs of our patients – both affordably and efficiently. NEW MD is our membership-based DPC clinic, providing a full scope of primary care medicine to our members, open M-F, with 2 locations: Appleton (with UCP) and DePere.

Salary: $50.00 – $65.00+ per hour (with differentials) based on experience/degree

Job Types: Hybrid Part-time (NEW MD & UCP weekend coverage), Part-time (UCP weekend coverage)

Expected hours: Hybrid 16 – 24 hours/week combined (NEW MD & UCP), or PT UCP 16 hours/month (1 full weekend per month)

Work Location: In person

  • DOT certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of experience (family medicine, emergency medicine) preferred. New Grads are encouraged to apply. Training provided.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice
  • Perform procedures such as wound suturing, incision and drainage, and joint injections
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant / NP
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program / NP program
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
  • Ability to triage patients based on acuity level
